Larnaca: GBL Found in Water Cooler – Investigation into 78-Year-Old's Death

The substance GBL (gamma-butyrolactone) was found in a water cooler in Larnaca, according to analyses by the State General Laboratory. Four people are hospitalized, and the connection of the substance to the death of a 78-year-old is being investigated.
GBL is illegally used as a drug substitute. Authorities are continuing their investigations into the case.
