Larnaca: Robbery Charges Before Dimitroui Murder Trial

Five individuals have been referred to trial before the Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court for a robbery that occurred prior to the murder of Dimitris Andronikou, known as Dimitroui. The trial is set to begin on April 2nd.
The defendants, aged 43, 42, 41, 29, and 27, are accused of robbing a house in Larnaca on February 19, 2024. Four of them have already been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Dimitroui.
According to the report, four hooded men broke into the home of the businessman's 58-year-old wife, threatening her and two domestic helpers with garden shears. The perpetrators stole mobile phones, jewelry, and money worth ā¬188,000.
One of the stolen watches was found on a social media platform and was found to have been sold to a jewelry store in Lebanon. A 41-year-old was arrested on March 14, 2024, as a suspect for the phone call to Lebanon. Subsequently, the 41-year-old also implicated the other three convicts in the Andronikou murder.
The five defendants face charges of conspiracy, robbery, night burglary, and theft.
