Larnaca & Limassol: Drug Arrests After Accident and Search

Yesterday (10/01), **CYCAN** arrested two individuals in the districts of **Larnaca** and **Limassol** for illegal possession of narcotics.

In the first case, a **39-year-old** riding a motorcycle in **Larnaca** was involved in an accident with a vehicle driven by a **51-year-old**. He was taken to **Larnaca General Hospital**, where, after a search by CYCAN, **24 packets of methamphetamine (14.7 grams)** were found in his possession. The 39-year-old was arrested and found to be driving without a license or insurance.

In **Limassol**, CYCAN officers searched the home of a **24-year-old**, where they found **cocaine (2.2 grams)**, a precision scale, and **€1875** in a safe. The 24-year-old was arrested. Investigations are ongoing by CYCAN.
