Larnaca: Family Business Behind Alleged Criminal Organization – Three Generations Arrested

A coordinated operation by YKAN in Larnaca has uncovered a criminal organization with arrestees ranging from 20 to 72 years old. Among those arrested are a grandfather, father, and grandson.
During the operation, approximately 400 grams of cocaine, 150 grams of cannabis, precision scales, ten mobile phones, €9,605, three vehicles, and two firearms (a pistol with a silencer and a Kalashnikov rifle) were confiscated. Nine people were arrested.
The weapons have been sent for examination, and a financial investigation is underway. Five arrestees were placed under eight-day detention following a decision by the Larnaca District Court. The remaining arrestees were released pending the results of the examinations, according to Michalis Michail.
Meanwhile, the 48-year-old and 27-year-old arrested for torture at a casino in Pyla were brought back to court, with their detention extended for five days. New evidence emerged from the analysis of the 48-year-old's mobile phones.
