Larnaca: 55-Year-Old Arrested for Illegal Hunting, Wild Birds Released

A 55-year-old man has been arrested for illegal hunting in the Larnaca province. During a search of a fenced area owned by the man, police discovered and confiscated three wild bird trapping nets, four loudspeakers, four sound-producing devices, and one dead wild bird.

According to the Police, members of the Game and Wildlife Service who were called to the scene, released six wild birds. An out-of-court fine is expected to be issued against the 55-year-old. Zygi Police Station is continuing the investigation.
