A 79-year-old man has been detained for six days, suspected of attacking his 57-year-old tenant with a knife in Limassol. According to the complaint, the 79-year-old attacked the tenant inside his residence, injuring him in the face.

According to the victim's wife, the perpetrator broke into the house, grabbed the 57-year-old by the neck, threw him to the ground, injured him with a knife, and shouted: "I will kill you and then I will leave."

The victim's wife called the police, while the perpetrator fled on a motorcycle driven by an accomplice. The 57-year-old's wife testified that the house belongs to the 79-year-old, who has been renting it to the couple for the past two years.
