Limassol: Hidden Gun and Explosives Found in Village

An alert was raised in the Limassol province after the discovery of a gun and pieces of explosive material in a village in the area.

According to the police, the items were found hidden in an open space, following information received by members of the OPE Limassol during a patrol. Specifically, a gun without a magazine and five pieces of explosive material, weighing a total of 670 grams, were found.

A pyrotechnician from the Limassol Police Department and members of TAE Limassol rushed to the scene for examination. The gun and explosives have been taken for specialized examination. Investigations are ongoing by TAE Limassol.
