Limassol: Arrest Made in Violent Clash β Cricket Bats Found

Police are investigating a violent clash that occurred in Limassol. According to a statement, a 28-year-old man was arrested last night (14/3) under a court warrant.
Authorities are investigating a case of conspiracy to commit a felony and misdemeanor, rioting, abduction, common assault, causing grievous bodily harm, and possession of offensive weapons. On 27/1/2026, 12 other people were arrested in connection with the same case.
During a search of an apartment, two cricket bats with possible blood stains were found and seized as evidence. A piece of iron with traces of blood and a pair of shoes were also found at the scene.
Members of the Limassol Police Department and the Limassol TAE are conducting investigations.
