Limassol: 33-Year-Old Arrested for Drunk Driving After Truck Collision

Today, around 9:20 AM, a 33-year-old woman was arrested on the Nicosia-Limassol highway, near Ayios Tychonas, after her vehicle collided with a truck.

There were no injuries from the collision, only minor damage to the vehicles. Members of the Limassol Traffic Police arrived at the scene and administered an alcohol test to the 33-year-old.

The preliminary test showed 182μg%, while the final test recorded 148μg%, significantly exceeding the legal limit of 22μg%. The 33-year-old was arrested for immediate offenses and detained. The Limassol Traffic Police are continuing their investigations.
