Limassol: 33-Year-Old Arrested for Drugs and Attacking Police Officers

Police arrested a 33-year-old in Limassol for illegal possession of drugs, causing disturbance, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest.

According to the announcement, around 7:30 p.m., officers signaled a cyclist to stop for inspection. The cyclist attempted to flee but was apprehended nearby.

During the search, 26 packages of cannabis (20 grams), 19 packages of methamphetamine (9 grams), and €442 were found in his possession.

The 33-year-old was detained, while YKAN and the Agios Ioannis Police Station continue the investigation.
