Limassol: 37-Year-Old Arrested for 11 kg of Cannabis

A 37-year-old man wanted in connection with a case of illegal possession of narcotics was arrested in Limassol. The suspect allegedly attempted to evade a police check on October 16, 2024.

During the escape attempt, the 37-year-old's vehicle collided with two police cars, resulting in minor injuries to one officer. The suspect initially fled to the British Bases area.

During the chase, the 37-year-old threw a bag containing 11 kg and 600 grams of cannabis from the vehicle.
