Limassol: 57-Year-Old Arrested in Drug Case After 8 Months

Police arrested a 57-year-old man yesterday to facilitate investigations into a case of illegal possession and use of drugs, illegal possession of drugs with intent to supply to another person, and money laundering from illegal activities.

The case concerns the discovery and seizure of 9 kilograms and 94 grams of cocaine in Limassol. A 45-year-old man was arrested in August 2025 in connection with the same case.

During the search, 42 cartons of untaxed cigarettes and €2,525 were also found in the 45-year-old's possession.

The 57-year-old was arrested yesterday under a court warrant and is expected to appear before the Limassol District Court.

The case against the first arrestee is under trial at the Limassol Criminal Court.
