Limassol: Two 20-Year-Olds Arrested for Drug Possession, Knives, and Driving Without a License

Police arrested two 20-year-olds for various offenses. One was arrested in old Nicosia for illegal possession of property, while the second was arrested in Limassol for possession of drugs, knives, and driving without a license.

Specifically, yesterday, a member of the Ledras sub-station located a 20-year-old in old Nicosia. During the search, two bank cards, an identity card, and various other cards belonging to other people, as well as a watch and a portable charging device, were found in his possession, for which he did not give satisfactory explanations.

In the second case, yesterday, August 14, 2025, around 1:50 a.m., members of M.M.A.D. stopped a vehicle in Limassol. It was found that the 20-year-old driver was driving without a license and without insurance. During the search of the vehicle, two knives, a knuckle duster, cannabis, and jewelry were found, for which he also did not give satisfactory explanations. He is expected to appear before the Limassol district court.
