Limassol: Arrests for weapons, drugs and burglary tools

As part of intensive patrols in mountainous Limassol to prevent fires, police arrested four people.

In two separate incidents, police intercepted three vehicles. In the first case, small amounts of drugs were found in two vehicles and the drivers were arrested. A weapon, possibly an air gun, was found at the home of one of those arrested, without the necessary documents.

In the second case, burglary tools were found in a vehicle and the two occupants were arrested. The two drivers charged with drug offenses were released, while the other two will be brought to court.

The case is being investigated by the Lania Police Station.
