A new incident of school violence occurred in Nicosia, victimizing a 15-year-old student. According to a complaint filed by his mother with philenews, the student was attacked by a peer at a Gymnasium he was visiting, resulting in serious facial injuries.

The incident took place when the 15-year-old, a Lyceum student, visited the Gymnasium he previously attended. There, he was attacked by another student without any prior altercation. The victim's mother reported that her son suffered serious facial injuries, including an injury to his eye and nose, a broken tooth, and abrasions.
