Nicosia: 40-Year-Old Sentenced for Sexual Exploitation of Minors

A 40-year-old man was sentenced to five years in prison by the Nicosia Permanent Criminal Court for administering narcotics and sexually exploiting minor girls.
According to a report by Fanis Makridis in "Phileleftheros," the convicted man approached four minors aged 12 to 16, removed them from their family environment, and provided them with cannabis. The acts took place from March 2024 to January 2025.
The 40-year-old pleaded guilty to 21 charges. The court emphasized the need to protect minors from exploitation and abuse.
His lawyer claimed that the 40-year-old began using substances after an attack in 2019 that caused him serious injury.
