Nicosia: 44-year-old Denies Arson in Abandoned Building

A 44-year-old woman from Romania is being brought before the Permanent Criminal Court of Nicosia for arson in an abandoned building on John Kennedy Avenue. The fire caused disruption in the area.

According to the police, the woman was recorded by CCTV entering the building shortly before the fire broke out. Despite this, she denies any involvement in the arson, claiming she was looking for a friend.

Investigators from TAE Nicosia are continuing their investigation into the case. The building is allegedly used as accommodation by foreign nationals.
