Nicosia: Police Car Runs Red Light, Ignores Pedestrian

A police officer was caught on video driving dangerously in Nicosia. According to OmegaLive, a citizen recorded a police car running a red light at a pedestrian crossing with a dashcam.

The incident occurred on the road from the "Kalimera" lights towards the RIK lights. As seen in the video, while other vehicles stopped at the red light, the police car continued on its way. A pedestrian who had started to cross the road fortunately stopped when she saw the police car approaching.

The driver who recorded the incident tried to reprimand the police officer, but he allegedly ignored him. The incident occurred on Wednesday, July 30th.
