Nicosia: Assault Allegation at Association – Police Investigation

Police are searching for a person in connection with an alleged assault on patrons at an association in Nicosia. According to a post on the "Residents of Strovolos" page, the incident occurred on Sunday evening, with the victims mainly being elderly patrons of Doxa Strovolou.

The post states that the perpetrator allegedly threatened and beat the patrons. He reportedly stated: "Tell them not to give a statement or I will kill them" before fleeing. The victims were taken to the hospital.

The post also claims that the case may have political motives, as the perpetrator is allegedly linked to a specific political group and a candidate for parliament. It is also mentioned that his wife was a candidate in previous elections with the same party.
