Nicosia: 21-Year-Old Arrested in Drug Case

A 21-year-old was arrested last night in Nicosia by YKAN, based on an outstanding warrant, to facilitate investigations into a case of illegal possession of narcotics.

Specifically, the arrest is related to a case on July 29, 2025, where over six kilograms of cannabis were seized in Nicosia. Testimony emerged against the 21-year-old, and during a search of his residence, cash, a mobile phone, two mobile phone cards, and a laptop were confiscated.

Another 21-year-old is under eight-day detention for the same case. YKAN (Nicosia Branch) continues the investigations.
