Nicosia: Arrests for speeding – 200 and 195 km/h

Two arrests were made in Nicosia for speeding. A 25-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were arrested for driving at 200 and 195 kilometers per hour instead of 100.

According to the Police, around 11:00 last night, members of OPOD located a car driven by a 25-year-old woman at 200 km/h on the Limassol - Nicosia highway, near GSP. At 2:20 this morning, a 31-year-old man was found driving at 195 km/h on the same highway, near Nisou.

Both were brought before the Nicosia District Court for immediate registration of the case.
