Missing 16-year-old Laura: Mother pleads, "Give us a sign you're okay"

The mother of 16-year-old Laura, who has been missing since January 8th from Rio Patras, has made an appeal for information regarding her daughter. Authorities' searches continue without result.

Valentina, Laura's mother, spoke on television, addressing her daughter: "Laura, you are our life. We miss you terribly. Give us a sign that you are okay." The mother expressed her ignorance as to where her daughter might be and whether someone helped her leave.

Valentina speculated that Laura's difficulty at school may have been a motive for running away, as Laura had expressed interest in schools with English or German, or even online classes. The family had sought help from a specialist to support Laura.
