Police are investigating a report of a possible burglary at Avvakoum Monastery. According to reports, a member of the ecclesiastical committee found a door to a hall of the Monastery breached and disorder in the area.

Authorities are conducting investigations, but no item theft has been reported. Theologian Theodoros Kyriakou, speaking to OMEGAlive, raised concerns about the future of the Monastery after the removal of the monks, stressing the need for re-establishment and guarding.
