Police Operation in Cyprus: Hundreds of Checks and Arrests

Cyprus Police conducted an operation in urban areas to prevent criminal activities and ensure public order. During the operations, two people were arrested, one for driving under the influence of alcohol and one for public insult.

A total of 591 drivers and passengers were checked, and 35 premises were inspected. 6 complaints were filed regarding minors, sound emission permits, and other issues.

During traffic controls, 101 complaints were made for traffic violations, with 46 related to driving under the influence of alcohol. 7 vehicles were detained.

Police operations continue to increase the public's sense of security.
