Cyprus Attorney General's Office to Delete Fines from Cameras in Fire-Affected Areas of Lemesos

The Attorney General's Office has announced its intention to accept the Police's recommendations to delete fines recorded by mobile cameras in areas affected by the recent fires in the Lemesos province.

The decision follows complaints regarding the imposition of fines during the deadly fire. A related announcement was made by the Attorney General's Office via social media.

According to the announcement, there is an understanding between the Chief of Police and the Assistant Attorney General Savas Angelides.
