Police Night Operations: Five Arrests and 234 Complaints

Cyprus Police conducted extensive operations overnight, leading to five arrests and 234 complaints.

The operations aimed to prevent criminal activity and ensure public order. During the operations, 968 drivers and passengers were checked, and 56 premises were inspected.

The arrests involved offenses such as driving without a license, driving under the influence of drugs, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Of the 234 complaints, 133 were for speeding, 34 for driving under the influence of alcohol, and three for driving under the influence of drugs. 21 vehicles were impounded.

Police operations continue daily throughout Cyprus.
