The 5 Greek Cypriots, who have been illegally detained in the occupied territories for a month, were transferred to the 'District Court' of Trikomo this morning. Later in the day, they are expected to appear in the 'Military Court' in Nicosia.

According to reports from the occupied territories, one couple among those arrested faces three charges in the 'District Court': causing disturbance, trespassing, and violating the 'legislation' on personal data. The two have been remanded in custody for up to 3 months until the trial begins.

Today, the remaining three were charged with two of the three aforementioned charges, namely causing disturbance and trespassing. Their lawyer, Uğur Ciulhaoğlu, stated that all five do not accept the 'charges' against them.

The three 'charges' will be consolidated into one case, and the 'trial' will begin on August 28, as decided by the 'court' in Trikomo.
