Ukraine Appeals for Additional €5 Billion for Weapons

Kyiv is requesting an additional €5 billion from its partners for 2025 to boost weapons production.
The country's Defense Minister, Denys Shmyhal, stated that the funding is essential for building more remote-controlled drones, interceptor unmanned aerial vehicles, and long-range weapons.
The chief of the general staff of national defense, Oleksandr Syrskyi, also appealed for increased military assistance, emphasizing the need for air defense systems, missiles, artillery shells, armored vehicles, evacuation equipment, electronic warfare systems, radar, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
