Paphos: Man Seriously Injured at Timi Flea Market

A 47-year-old man was seriously injured in an incident at a flea market in Timi, Paphos. According to the police, the man tried to defend a woman who refused to pay individuals who replaced her car's windshield wipers without her permission.
The incident occurred on Sunday, October 19, when the woman refused to pay for the new wipers, claiming she had not given her consent for the replacement. The perpetrators insisted on payment, claiming the wipers were disposable and would break if removed.
The 47-year-old intervened to help the woman, resulting in him being attacked and injured. He was taken to Paphos General Hospital and then to Nicosia General Hospital, where he underwent surgery for a broken nose and an injury to his right eye.
