Paphos: Minors Setting Fires, 13-Year-Old with Knife

Police intensified checks to prevent the use of firecrackers and the lighting of 'lambratzies'. In the Paphos district, minors were setting fires, while a 13-year-old was found to have a knife.

According to the Police, patrols responded to incidents of fire-starting and firecracker use, while during the checks, wood intended for 'lambratzies' was confiscated.

In the Paphos district, around 7:00 p.m., a fire was located and a 13-year-old with a knife was found. His guardian was called. Also, around 8:30 p.m., another fire was located and a 23-year-old was arrested for outstanding warrants.

The Police continue targeted actions to prevent dangerous behaviors.
