Paphos: Arrests in Tourist Robbery Case Involving 10 Assailants

Two individuals, aged 21 and 17, have been placed under seven-day detention by the Paphos District Court in connection with an attack and robbery against two tourists. According to the complaint, approximately ten individuals approached and assaulted the tourists, stealing a beach bag and a purse containing personal items and a mobile phone.

The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. The tourists visited Paphos General Hospital with abrasions and bruises and were discharged after receiving first aid. During a search of the 17-year-old's residence, various items of clothing and a spray of noxious gas were found. Paphos CID is continuing investigations.
