Paphos: 26-year-old in Critical Condition After Attempted Murder

A 26-year-old Greek Cypriot is hospitalized in critical condition at Paphos General Hospital following an attempted murder. The incident occurred outside a kiosk in Konia around 18:15.

According to reports, the incident was preceded by a complaint from a young woman against the 26-year-old for harassment. The alleged perpetrator is a 58-year-old, the girl's father, who is wanted by the Police.

Preliminary police investigations indicate that the 26-year-old was attacked with a knife by the 58-year-old after a brief conversation. The scene remains cordoned off and investigations are ongoing.
