Paphos: Arrests in Tourist Attack and Robbery Case

Police in Paphos have arrested two individuals, aged 21 and 17, in connection with an alleged attack and robbery targeting two tourists.

According to the report, approximately ten individuals approached the tourists while they were walking on a street in the city and allegedly attacked them, stealing a beach bag and a purse containing personal items and a mobile phone.

The tourists visited Paphos General Hospital with abrasions and bruises and were discharged after receiving first aid.

During a search of the 17-year-old's residence, clothing and a spray of noxious gas were found. Paphos CID is continuing the investigation.
