Pallini: 48-year-old municipal employee charged with arson

A 48-year-old municipal employee has been brought before the investigator, accused of four arsons in Pallini. The fires occurred from June to August.
The 48-year-old was arrested after an arrest warrant was issued by the 3rd Regular Investigator of the Athens Court of First Instance, following an investigation by the Directorate of Arson Crimes.
According to the investigation, the employee, who transported children with Special Needs, allegedly caused the fires in vacant lots, using a lighter or flammable materials. The fires broke out on June 18 and 19, and July 14, near social structures of the Municipality of Pallini.
He faces charges of arson by intent in continuation at a short distance from forest land.
