Paralimni: Serious Worker Injury at Construction Site

A serious work accident occurred at a construction site in Paralimni, resulting in injuries to two workers.

According to the Police, the accident happened when scaffolding collapsed, causing two workers, aged 64 and 56, to fall from a height of approximately two meters.

Both sustained head injuries and multiple fractures. The 64-year-old is being treated at Nicosia General Hospital, while the 56-year-old is in the Intensive Care Unit of Famagusta General Hospital. Their condition is considered serious.

The causes of the accident are being investigated by the Paralimni Police Station.
