Turkish Farmer Violates Buffer Zone in Avlona: UN Intervention

A new violation incident occurred in Avlona, where a Turkish farmer attempted to carry out work in the buffer zone without permission.

Community leader Menelaos Savva told Cyprus Times that the farmer tried to work with a tractor in a 'frozen' area, where the United Nations does not allow work.

UN members intervened immediately and removed the Turkish farmer.
