Piraeus: Police Rescue 5-Year-Old by Climbing onto Balcony

A five-year-old boy was rescued by police in Kaminia, Piraeus, who climbed onto a balcony to reach him. The incident occurred on Tuesday night when DI.AS. police officers received a report of a minor throwing objects from a first-floor balcony.
The police arrived at the scene and found that the child was alone on the balcony, and the door to the house was locked. Concerned for his safety, they climbed onto the balcony and approached him, ensuring he would not be injured.
According to reports, the child's 17-year-old sister arrived home approximately 40 minutes later and stated that she had left the child with their adult sister, who was absent. The children's mother was in Kalamata for work. The timely intervention of the police prevented the worst.
