Firefighters Stoned in Limassol

A shocking incident occurred yesterday in Limassol when firefighters responding to a fire call were attacked with stones.

According to the Fire Service, the call concerned a fire in a pile of wood and waste materials in Polemidia. During the extinguishing operation, unknown individuals began throwing stones at the members and the vehicle of the Fire Service.

The Police arrived at the scene, but the perpetrators fled. The fire truck was damaged, while there were no injuries.
