Potamia: Van Rams Police Car and Flees to Occupied Territories

A serious incident occurred last night around 20:30 in the Vathia Gonia area, near Potamia. According to the Police, members of the Anti-Poaching Unit of MMAD spotted a van with Turkish Cypriot license plates entering the free areas from the occupied territories and signaled the driver to stop.

The driver did not comply, rammed the police car on the right side, and fled towards the occupied territories. No injuries were reported.
