Prodromos: 37-Year-Old Arrested with Flare and Firecrackers – Arson Investigation

Police arrested a 37-year-old in Prodromos who possessed a flare, firecrackers, and other dangerous items. The arrest occurred at midnight on Sunday. Authorities are investigating a possible connection to arson complaints.

According to the Police, during a patrol to prevent fires, the 37-year-old's vehicle was located near the Prodromos roundabout. A hand flare, 22 firecrackers, a folding baton, a knife, a slingshot, and iron spheres were found during the search.

The 37-year-old was arrested and is expected to appear in court. The Morphou Criminal Investigation Department continues the investigation.
