Warning! Scammers Impersonate Bank Employees to Defraud Citizens

Police are advising the public to be cautious of scams perpetrated by individuals falsely presenting themselves as bank employees, with the aim of stealing money from bank accounts.

According to recent reports, scammers contact citizens, introduce themselves as bank personnel, and falsely claim there is a problem with their accounts or cards. They then request personal and banking information to "resolve" the issue.

Their goal is to obtain data for online transactions and steal funds.
