Fire at Lykavitos Elementary School in Nicosia

A fire broke out in the fenced area of Lykavitos Elementary School in Nicosia but was quickly brought under control. According to Fire Department spokesperson Andreas Kettis, the fire started in polystyrene intended for thermal insulation, in an area where work was being carried out.

The fire externally affected the paint of two classrooms. The Fire Department responded with four vehicles. The causes of the fire are being investigated in cooperation with the Police.
