Sakis Tanimanidis and Dimitra Makrygianni victims of online scam

Presenter Sakis Tanimanidis and Alpha Cyprus news anchor Dimitra Makrygianni have fallen victim to an online scam. Misleading videos circulating online use their image and voice, urging the public to participate in a fake "game" promising profits.

The videos were created using artificial intelligence (AI) and the deepfake method, realistically altering the image and voice of the presenters. Neither Sakis Tanimanidis, nor Dimitra Makrygianni, nor Alpha Cyprus have any connection with these materials.
