Salamina: Arrest for Abandoning 83-Year-Old After Accident

The driver of a motorcycle who hit and abandoned an 83-year-old woman in Salamina has been arrested. The motorcyclist, of Albanian origin, was led to the Piraeus prosecutor and charged with a criminal offense.

The accident happened on Saturday on Faneromenis Avenue. The motorcycle driver hit the elderly woman, who was seriously injured. The driver then fled the scene.

The 83-year-old is hospitalized in Attikon Hospital, fighting for her life. An ambulance from EKAB transported her to the hospital.
