Shock in Limassol: 14-year-old with 40-year-old in vehicle, drug use

Shock and concern have been caused in Limassol by the case of a 14-year-old found in a car with a 40-year-old Syrian, a political refugee. The man was arrested and detained.

The minor was located in the early hours of Thursday (18/9) during a check by the OPE in Limassol. Drugs and burglary tools were found in the vehicle.

According to a report in the newspaper "Fileleftheros", the 14-year-old admitted to a romantic relationship with the 40-year-old and joint use of methamphetamine. She was examined at Limassol Hospital and tested positive for drugs.

The 40-year-old faces charges of sexual abuse of a minor, drug possession, illegal driving, and providing false information. The case is being investigated by TAE Limassol.
