28-Year-Old Arrested for Drug Possession in Famagusta District

A 28-year-old man was arrested in the Famagusta district for possession of narcotics. The arrest followed a search by YKAN, in cooperation with OPE members, at the suspect's residence, pursuant to a court warrant.

During the search, 100 grams of cannabis, eight bags of cannabis (4 grams), one bag of cocaine (0.5 grams), one bag of MDMA, one precision scale with traces of cannabis, and two handmade cannabis cigarettes were confiscated.

The 28-year-old was arrested and is expected to appear before a court for the issuance of a detention order.
