33-Year-Old Arrested for Drunk Driving on Limassol Highway

Today, at approximately 9:20 AM, a 33-year-old woman was arrested after being involved in a side collision with a truck on the Nicosia-Limassol highway, near Ayios Tychonas.

The collision resulted in no injuries, only minor damage to the vehicles. The Limassol Traffic Police, who rushed to the scene, subjected the driver to an alcohol test, which revealed that she had **182mg%**, while the permitted limit is **22mg%**.

In a subsequent test at the Limassol Traffic Police station, the reading was **148mg%**. The 33-year-old was arrested and detained for immediate offenses.
