Minor Arrested for Attempted Murder at Car Dealership in Pyla

A foreign minor, aged 17.5 years, was arrested on Friday in Nicosia in connection with a case of conspiracy to commit attempted murder, arson, illegal possession of a firearm and explosives. The case concerns an incident that took place on August 14 at a car dealership on the Larnaca-Dhekelia road.

In connection with the same case, three more people, aged 44, 27 and 23, all foreign nationals, are already under arrest. The minor is expected to appear before a court for a request for his detention. Police investigations are continuing and further arrests are possible.
