Sotira: 19-year-old killed in fatal car accident

A fatal car accident occurred early Wednesday morning on Agia Thekla Avenue in Sotira, claiming the life of 19-year-old Kristina Achilleos.

Around 01:30, a car driven by a 19-year-old, with a 20-year-old co-driver and two 19-year-old passengers, under investigation conditions, crashed into a concrete tank wall.

Kristina Achilleos was fatally injured. The driver and co-driver were injured and taken to hospitals. The second 19-year-old passenger was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital due to the criticality of her condition.

Famagusta Traffic Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
