Sotira: 19-year-old killed in car accident – Another 19-year-old in critical condition

A fatal car crash occurred early this morning on Agia Thekla Avenue in Sotira, claiming the life of 19-year-old Kristina Achilleos, from Sotira.

According to the data under investigation, around 01:30, a car driven by a 19-year-old, with a 20-year-old co-driver and two 19-year-old passengers in the back seats, under conditions being investigated, deviated from its course and crashed into a concrete tank wall.

Achilleos was fatally injured, while the driver and co-driver were injured and initially transferred to Famagusta General Hospital and then to Larnaca General Hospital for further examination. The second 19-year-old passenger was transferred to Nicosia General Hospital due to the criticality of her condition.
